Another reason to avoid Burberry

Apart from the fact that its check design is beloved of chavs everywhere, and that I can’t actually afford designer clobber.
No, Burberry is one of those anachronistic fashion houses which still uses animal fur in its designs. It’s amazing to think that anyone would want to put their name to something that causes so much suffering in the name of luxury. Apart from the ethical reasons and animal welfare issues, (dead) fur is quite a disgusting fibre. I’m sure it’s not hygienic. Whenever I see those old films from the 1920s with the women wearing fox-fur stoles with the head still attached, I want to hurl.
I wish that Ioan Gruffudd wasn’t on their ad campaigns. He’s too hot to be associated with this brand. There should be another petition for this IMO.

Stumble It!

It floors me that anyone can think fur is beautiful when it’s not attached to the animal to which it belonged! It’s beautiful on THEM, and disgusting on humans. BLECH!
Exactly. Wear your own skin!
