I hereby declare Monday “Listy-thing day”, so every Monday expect a list from the amusing, through the informative to the plain old random. Enjoy

Here are twenty famous vegetarians and vegans (the vegans get a *), in no particular order.

1. Pythagoras. You know, the Greek maths guy with a theory about triangles.

2. Chrissy Hind*- this rock chick don’t wear leather.

3. Woody Harrelson* – not a natural born killer of animals.

4. Scott Adams – Dilbert’s spiritual father.

5. Shania Twain* – “Don’t be stupid, ya know I love ya” – all sentient beings that is.

6. William Shatner – boldly going where no meat is to be found.

7. Albert Einstein – one smart dude

8. Dustin Hoffman – “Are you trying to seduce me with that hamburger? Get thee hence!”

9. Gary Barlow – like we need another reason to love Gaz.

10. Peter Buck – the guitarist from REM proves that you won’t waste away on a veggie diet.

11. Uri Geller* - let’s hope he doesn’t bend his spoon tucking into his dairy-free frozen dessert.

12. PJ Harvey – I just looove Polly Jean!

13. Meatloaf – yes really!

14. KD Lang – has a constant craving for anything but meat.

15. Morrisey – maybe he would cheer up if he just invested in a cool vegan cookbook like Veganomicon.
